The Art of Making Friends

It's so quiet here. I am hoping if there is anyone out there they will respond...
Anywho. Todays topic is making friends, so if you are starting a new school with no one you know. It reals sort of lonely, doesn't it? I mean I get trying to learn but personally it can be such a downer not having anyone there.
In these situations it is so important to stay true to YOURSELF, I mean be you do not conform! Just because everyone is doing it does not mean you should be doing it too! Now in high school this is alot more difficult then in college because you ussually do not know have a true identity of who you are. This is super important to stay true to yourself and be your own person, this is the true way to make lasting friends.
So I know you have heard the whole 'don't conform' buisness and it can be annoying to hear all the time, but it is just so true that's why it is so over used.
So after you staytrue to yourself, it is now time to get out of your comfort zone and make small talk. Some people may reach out to you and others may be just as shy. Now you will not suddenally become miss/mr popularity after all some people are not as open to new friends and that's alright it is not because of you, it has to do with them. Just stay kind and you may break them, never be nasty at times it can be so tempting however we already live in a world of destruction and war why bring us human kinds down even more? Just kill them with kindness.
Once you make friends, it is important to let this friendship prospure by getting to know eachother. Things like this take time, and it varies for everyone. For example I have made two friends so far one who I hang out with alot and the other I talk to in class. The latter seems not to be ready yet to let all her walls down and the first seems ready to move forward in our friendship.
At some point keeping friends will not be a difficult task, it does get easier.
Until next time,
R
